ABOUT IAN G
Ian G is a vocal-led piano house DJ and artist from Kent, UK.
DJing since 1995, his sets blend uplifting vocals, piano hooks and house music inspired by the records that helped define dancefloors throughout the 90s. His performances have included Ministry of Sound, Studio 338, ADE, 528 Ibiza and Clockwork Orange events. He also hosts a regular residency on Select Radio, championing vocal house, piano house and uplifting new music.
THE JOURNEY
Music has always been part of Ian's life.
After stepping away from the scene for a period, a series of life-changing events led him back to the music that had always been there in the background. Returning later in life with a renewed sense of purpose, he committed fully to building a career around the sound he loves.
That experience shapes the way he approaches music today. The focus is on consistency, gratitude, hard work and making the most of every opportunity. His journey continues to inspire the message that it's never too late to follow something that matters to you.
WHY PIANO HOUSE
Piano house was the sound that first drew Ian onto dancefloors in the 90s.
The emotion, energy and feeling people experience when a great piano record lands at the right moment has never left him. Today, his mission is to introduce that sound to new audiences while staying connected to the qualities that made it special in the first place.
His music blends classic influences with contemporary house music, creating sets and releases that feel familiar to long-time house fans while remaining relevant to today's audience.
